Setting up your event
We'll have a chat with you and help you complete the appropriate Get Started Form - we have a range of forms covering various events
You'll need the event name, the date of the event, ticket prices, any discounts, any additional items (such as menu choices), the closing date for bookings and your payment option:
Online banking, credit account or cheque
Back Office
You can choose to receive a copy of each booking by email or you can simply follow the detailed log in the back office
Watching the numbers build will help you increase or change your advertising
If you are organising a dinner event you will be able to print catering lists for the restaurant/hotel, table plans and place cards
For Conventions you are able to print name badges and tickets where required for lunches etc
If you are organising a large event such as a firework fiesta you can watch a live view as tickets are scanned-in giving you an accurate view of attendees
You can even download the complete list to a spreadsheet
Tickets
Each ticket has its own unique QR code identifying the ticket purchaser
The ticket holder can either print their ticket or present their phone with the ticket on the screen for your entry/gate team to scan
If a ticket is lost it is easy to resend
Check-in App
Your team of ticket collectors will access the scanning software from the website
Their smartphones will then be able to scan tickets (whether on paper or on the screen of a mobile device)
You can watch the tickets being scanned in the back office
We'll help you practice checking-in before your big event
Costs
The annual cost for the TicketBytes system is £144 (inc VAT)
There is a booking fee of £1.20 (inc VAT) per booking, regardless of the number of tickets purchased

The booking fee of £1.20 (inc VAT) can be included in the price of the ticket or it can be shown as a separate cost to the ticket buyer.
The buyer only pays one booking fee regardless of how many tickets are purchased
We will invoice you after the event has taken place
Event cancellation
What happens if you have to cancel your event?
TicketBytes has a refund system. Your customer may elect to receive a full refund or donate all or part of the funds to you
We don't charge for making a refund and we don't claim the booking fee for the original ticket purchase
